1) How do I use the system?
It's a really easy 3 step system. Tell George what you need, where you live and whether you need someone to help today. George Knows will do the rest.
2) How much does it cost to use the George Knows system?
It's completely free. If you can get online, you can use George Knows for free!
3) Will I pay more to the company because it's free to use?
Not at all, George Knows actually costs less to the companies than most advertising so you won’t have hidden charges.
4) Is George Knows available via a call centre?
At the moment George Knows is only available online. This allows us to be completely live and ensures you don’t have to sit in queues on the phone when you need help urgently. Late 2007 will see an SMS option launched – Watch this space.
5) If I don't have access to the internet can I use George Knows?
At the moment, George Knows is only available online. If you would like us to let you know when access is available via your mobile phone, please text us on 07834 779 245
6) Why shouldn't I use one of the existing telephone directory companies?
If you know the name of who you want to reach then normal directories are perfect. Use George Knows when you need a reliable and more importantly, available, local company.
7) Why can't I see my town on the site?
We are introducing the revolutionary George Knows service across the UK over the coming months and years. We evaluate most towns to ensure there is a real demand and where people struggle to find good companies to help the same day. 8) Why can't I see the industry I’m looking for?
George Knows only chooses industries where there are lots of companies providing the service, but where there is a lack of availability. If you would like to see a new industry listed, email us at suggestions@georgeknows.com today and we’ll investigate the feasibility
9) How do I know the companies will be reputable?
This is the most common question we get here at George Knows. Our companies are reputable, local companies that sign up to a strict code of conduct.
