How did it start?
Four years ago after having the bathroom floor tiled "George" jumped on a flight overseas. When he landed he had a message from his wife telling him of the huge leak that was seeping down through the wall in the hallway. George’s wife did what anyone would do, grabbed a telephone directory and started calling plumbers.
What happened next is a common story...
It took almost twenty phone calls to find one person who was actually available. Between people not answering and many companies saying they were already busy, each phone call brought more stress and worry whilst the water continued to flow down the wall. Two workmen even laughed when she asked whether they could come and assist today! Eventually the plumber that agreed to come arrived, albeit five hours later, fixed the problem.
George thought "There must be a better way" and spent the next 4 years perfecting the solution that would ensure that no-one else would need to put up with this type of service. GeorgeKnows.com was born!
